Quilting Services

A rural outdoor scene with a weathered wooden table and chair under a large leafy tree. A colorful quilt is draped over the chair, and a wicker basket sits on the table. In the background, rolling green fields stretch to the horizon.

 Every Quilt is Unique.

They all come with a story, a reason, and a whole lot of love. Some are traditional, some are modern, some are somewhere delightfully in between. I'd be honoured to be part of yours - whether that means longarming your masterpiece or creating something from scratch that'll make your heart sing (and keep you cozy).

  • Longarm Quilting Services

You've done the creative work - now let me take your quilt top to the next stage. Choose from hundreds of edge-to-edge designs, and I'll finish your quilt with care and precision using specialised longarm machinery. Consider me your quilting fairy godmother, minus the wand, with seriously impressive equipment.

  • Commission Quilts

Let's collaborate on something truly special. From baby quilts for tummy time to wedding gifts, wall art to "just because you're loved" treasures, I'll create a bespoke piece from start to finish. No two quilts are the same - just like no two families are the same.

My own original works inspired by Australian flora and fauna are available at Colac Unearthed - a beautiful local hub showcasing regional produce, art, and the heart of our Colac/Otways community. Come say hi, grab a coffee, and see what the local makers are up to!

Longarm Quilt Service

Because you've got better things to do than wrestle with wadding.

We've all been there. You've spent hours (days? weeks? let's not count) piecing together your quilt top. You're so proud of it! And then... you remember you still have to quilt it. The fun creative part is done, and now you're facing the laborious bit that makes your back ache just thinking about it.

That's where I come in - consider me your quilting cavalry!

I use specialised longarm machinery in my home studio to finish your quilt with precision and care. Choose from hundreds of edge-to-edge designs (seriously, hundreds - you'll have choice paralysis in the best way), and I'll bring your hard work to life. Very few people in the Colac/Otway/Geelong/Surf Coast regions offer this service. It's highly specialised, the machinery is expensive and takes years to master, and I'm honoured every time someone trusts me with their quilt top.

What's Included:

  • Hundreds of edge-to-edge quilting design options (from classic stippling to modern geometric patterns)

  • Professional longarming using specialised machinery

  • Binding services to complete your quilt (because who actually enjoys binding? Be honest.)

  • Finished to the highest quality (no wonky seams or puckering here!)

Who This Is For:

  • First-time quilters wanting their quilt top taken to the next stage

  • Experienced makers with a pile of unfinished tops (UFOs, we call them - UnFinished Objects!)

  • Anyone who wants to skip the laborious parts and get back to the fun stuff

  • Quilters who don't own a longarm machine (aka most people)

The Process: Email me with details about your quilt top - approximate size, fabric colours, any special requests. I'll send you design options to choose from, give you a quote, and we'll get your quilt booked in and ready for stitching.

Pricing & Availability: Please contact me here with details of your project, and I'll provide a quote and current availability. Because every quilt is different, pricing varies based on size and complexity.

Commission Quilt Design

From "I have an idea!" to "I can't believe this is mine!"

You have a vision - maybe it's fuzzy around the edges, maybe it's crystal clear. A bespoke baby quilt for a new arrival (complete with their name or birthdate hidden in the design). A wedding gift heirloom that'll be passed down for generations. A piece of wall art that captures your family's story. A "just because you're loved and I wanted to wrap you in fabric hugs" treasure.

Whatever it is, I'll work with you from start to finish to create a one-of-a-kind quilt that tells your story. We'll collaborate, bounce ideas around, pick fabrics together (the fun part!), and I'll handle all the technical stuff.

No two quilts are the same. They all come with a story, a reason, and a whole lot of love. I've made baby quilts for every new arrival in families I adore. I've even had a client commission quilts for each of her daughter's boarding school homeroom buddies - two years in a row! (That's commitment, and I was honoured to be part of it.)

What's Included:

  • Full consultation to understand your vision (we can chat over email, phone, or in person with a cuppa)

  • Custom design and fabric selection (I'll guide you through the process - it's not overwhelming, I promise!)

  • Piecing, longarming, and binding

  • A finished heirloom ready to be loved, used, and treasured

Popular Commissions:

  • Baby quilts and tummy time mats (because tummy time is cuter on a custom quilt)

  • Wedding gifts (something more meaningful than another toaster)

  • Wall art and home decor (quilts aren't just for beds!)

  • Memory quilts (made from special fabrics, old clothes, or meaningful materials)

  • Cot quilts, picnic quilts, throw quilts

The Process: Get in touch with your idea - even if it's just "I want something special for my niece but I don't know what." We'll have a chat, I'll ask questions, we'll explore options together. Then I'll create a custom design and fabric plan for you to approve. Once you give the green light, I'll get to work bringing your vision to life!

Pricing & Availability: Each commission is unique, so pricing varies based on size, complexity, and materials. Please contact me via email to discuss your project, and I'll provide a custom quote and timeline. (Fair warning: I'm usually booked out a bit, so the sooner you reach out, the better!)

Location: I am based near Colac, and many of my clients come from Geelong, the Otways, the Surf Coast, Melbourne and regional Victoria to plan their commission quilt or longarming service. Quilts can be couriered to me from around Australia, too.

Art Quilts

Australian botanicals, modern quilting techniques and my unique vision all stitched together.

I create my own art quilts inspired by the beauty of the Australian landscape - the native plants, the colours of the Otways, the textures of our unique environment. Think gum leaves, banksias, wattle, and the earthy tones of the bush.

These pieces are available for purchase at Colac Unearthed, a local hub celebrating regional art, produce, and community. Each art quilt is an original, one-of-a-kind piece that can be displayed on your wall or used as a striking home decor accent. They're conversation starters, statement pieces, and a celebration of where we live.

Where to Find Them: Visit Colac Unearthed to view and purchase my current collection of art quilts. While you're there, grab a coffee, check out other local makers, and soak up the community vibe. It's worth the trip!

Current availability

I'm currently accepting inquiries for longarm quilting and commission projects. Due to demand (and the fact that quilts take time - I can't exactly speed-stitch them!), availability may be limited depending on the time of year.

Please reach out via email with your request, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible with current timelines. Even if I'm booked out, I can usually add you to the waitlist and we'll get your project sorted!

Let’s work together.
